Never underestimate the power of compassion. It is the source and glue of our humanity.
It is the place of shared understanding on grief, loss, heartache, sorrow, pain, misfortune and suffering.
And in that place of understanding knowing the consequence of these experiences on the fragile human heart and mind.
We are called upon often, to foresake our heart for the want of a world that treats us as a number in a system. And so to it is easy for all in the world to loose sight of each others humanity. But human we are, and the art of practicing humanity must become at the forefront of our growth and practices.
Compassion is the cornerstone of our conscious evolution. Not stupidity. Not blind acceptance of being wronged. Not reckless disregard for one's well being.
But compassion, being the place where we understand and and can empathise with each others situations.
And in that place, rather than being harsh and judgmental, show love and kindness.
Remembering as for all things in life, "there but for the Grace of God, go I".
